      • 3/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
      • 1/2 Cup Dark Cocoa
      • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
      • 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
      • 1/8 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
      • 3/4 Cup Butter
      • 1 1/2 Cup Sugar
      • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
      • 2 Large Eggs


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9-inch square baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together flour, cocoa, salt, cinnamon & cayenne.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and remove from heat. Stir in sugar & vanilla and whisk eggs in 1 at a time.
  4. Pour butter mixture into flour mixture and stir until blended, but not over-mixed. Use a spatula to spread batter into prepared pan and bake until set, about 25-30 minutes. Transfer pan to a wire rack to cool. Cut into squares and serve.
