      • 1 Pound Loaf Of Country-Style Bread (Cut Into 1-Inch Cubes)
      • 3 Medium Onions (Diced)
      • 3 Large Celery Stalks (Thinly Sliced)
      • 1 Teaspoon Dried Thyme
      • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Dried Sage
      • 1/2 Teaspoon Dried Rosemary
      • 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter (Cubed)
      • 1 1/2 Cups Chicken Stock (Recipe Associated)
      • 1/2 Cup Water
      • 1/2 Teaspoon Celery Salt
      • 1/2 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
      • 1/2 Teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. In a large shallow baking pan, arrange bread cubes and toast them until lightly brown, about 25-30 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, heat a Dutch oven over medium heat, melt the butter and saute the onions, celery, and herbs until vegetables are softened about 10 minutes. Stir in the bread, stock, water, celery salt, salt & pepper and stir until completely combined.
  4. Keep stirring until ingredients are heated through, about 5 minutes.
