      • 1/4 Cup Yellow Mustard Seeds
      • 2 Tablespoons Black Mustard Seeds
      • 1/4 Cup Mustard Powder
      • 1 1/2 Cups Apple Cider Vinegar
      • 1 Small Onion (Minced)
      • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
      • 2 Cloves Garlic (Minced)
      • 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
      • 1/8 Teaspoon Ground Allspice
      • 1/4 Teaspoon Dried Tarragon
      • 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Turmeric

  1. In a small bowl combine mustard seeds and dry mustard. Set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine vinegar & spices and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer until reduced by half, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Combine vinegar mixture with mustard mixture in a non- reactive bowl. Cover and refrigerate until mixture thickens, about 1-2 days. Add 2 tablespoons more of vinegar if mustard is too thick.
  4. In the bowl of a food processor, pulse into a coarse mixture. Store mustard in a covered jar in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.
