Ingredients

      • 10 Ounces Pearl Onions
      • To Taste Coarse Salt
      • 1 Tablespoon Unsalted Butter
      • 1/2 Cup Small Fresh Mint Leaves
      • 20 Ounces Frozen Petite Green Peas

Directions

  1. Carefully, slit an X in stem end of each onion.
  2. In a pan of salted boiling water, cook onions for about 1-2 minutes. Drain well and peel the onions.
  3. In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of water and butter over medium-high heat and cook onions for about 4 minutes. Stir in peas and ¾ teaspoon of salt and cook for about 2 minutes. Stir in mint and serve immediately.
