      • 3 Pounds St. Louis Style Pork Ribs
      • 2 Cups Water
      • 2 Cups White Vinegar
      • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
      • 3 Teaspoons Sat & Freshly Ground Black Pepper
      • 2 Teaspoons Chinese 5-Spice Powder
      • 1/4 Cup Tamari
      • 1/4 Cup Rice Wine Vinegar


  1. Combine the ribs, 1 cup water, and white vinegar in a resealable plastic bag, and shake to combine. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours if not overnight.
  2. Drain the marinade, and pat the ribs with paper towels to absorb any excess liquid. Season the ribs with garlic powder, salt, pepper and with the 5-spice powder. Rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.
  3. Transfer the ribs into the bottom of a slow cooker, and top 1 cup water, tamari and rice wine vineger. And cook on high for 6 hours.
  4. Serve with a side of mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables.
