      • 1/4 Cup Water
      • 1/4 Cup Cider Vinegar
      • 2 1/2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
      • 12 Ounces Baby Carrots (Peeled)
      • 1 Tablespoon Butter
      • 1/4 Teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
      • 1/8 Teaspoon Salt
      • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Flat-Leaf Parsley (Chopped)


  1. In a medium skillet, mix together carrots, brown sugar, vinegar and water over medium-high heat. Cover the skillet and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer, covered for about 6 minutes. Increase heat to medium-high and cook for about 2 minutes. Stir in butter, salt and black pepper and remove from heat. Garnish with parsley and serve.
